I wasn't sure about the bergamot in a chocolate egg, but it pairs surprisingly well with the crunchy biscuit pieces. The blonde chocolate itself is smooth and not too sweet, which made the whole thing feel more refined than your average Easter treat.
The crunchy biscuit pieces in every bite give this egg the perfect texture contrast—like a chocolatey tea break in solid form.
The bergamot flavor in the blonde chocolate is surprisingly subtle and pairs nicely with the crunchy biscuit bits. Only gave it four stars because the pieces could be a little more evenly distributed throughout the egg.
