The crunch of the malt center gives way to that creamy white chocolate layer before the dark chocolate kicks in with just the right amount of orange zest. I was impressed by how well the natural orange oil complements the Colombian dark chocolate without overpowering it.
The natural orange oil in the dark chocolate gives a bright citrus kick that pairs perfectly with the creamy white chocolate and crunchy malt center. Really well balanced and not too sweet.
The white chocolate layer inside is a nice surprise that cuts the richness of the dark chocolate. I just wish the orange flavor from the Colombian coating was a bit stronger, but they’re still a tasty treat.
