Gezouten karamel kwarteleitjes

I was skeptical about a sugar-crusted egg shell, but the crunch gives way to a smooth milk chocolate and that salted caramel center is perfectly balanced. The fleur de sel really comes through at the end, making each one dangerously easy to finish.

The sugar-crusted shell gives the perfect crack when you bite in, and the fleur de sel cuts through the caramel’s sweetness just right. I grabbed these for an Easter hunt and ended up hiding a few for myself instead.

The caramel inside is properly gooey and salty, not just sweet, and the milk chocolate balances it out perfectly. I've already eaten three in one sitting, they're dangerously good.
