The peppermint oil hits just enough to feel refreshing without being too sharp, and the double chocolate layers make every bite perfectly balanced. Crisp, creamy, and surprisingly light for a malt ball.
The two layers of chocolate—dark and white—give these malt balls a nice complexity, and the peppermint oil is crisp without being overpowering. A perfect little treat to cap off a meal.
The two-tone chocolate coating looks nice, but the peppermint oil is a bit too sharp for me—I was hoping for a smoother mint flavor. The crunch is satisfying, though.
